Be part of a global celebration and focus on open education. Open Education Week 2025 was listed as March 3-7 but continues on. Not always the best timing for different parts of the world, we included 310 events OEWeek 2025 calendar online or in person from the start of February through the end of March. The purpose is to make Open Education globally and locally visible regardless of date.

Knowing that more week long activates happen all year, we will leave the calendar open for anyone to share them here. Already we are seeing listings for 13 events after March that are listed on the calendar including ones from University of Technology Sydney, University of Regina, and more.

As you reflect on what you learned and saw during Open Education Week we invite you share any open assets / resources through three pathways to as an expression to the world of what we collectively are making available as part of Open Education Week. As of March 31, 2025 collectively we curated 81 assets in OER Commons, added 48 pins to the OER World Map, and shared 22 resources in OEG Connect.
